Vineland Research Station
In 1906 Moses Rittenhouse donated a farm of 90 acres at Vineland to the province of Ontario for the purpose of experimenting with tender fruits. Nestled on the south shore of Lake Ontario the Vineland Experimental Station is a cooperative between the province of Ontario's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, The University of Guelph and the University of Toronto.
