Vladimir Oblast



Vladimir Oblast (, Vladimirskaya oblast) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the medieval Russian capital Vladimir, which is located 190 km to the east from the present-day capital, Moscow. The 12th-century cathedrals of Vladimir, Suzdal, Bogolyubovo, and Kideksha are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
