Valorous Unit Award
The Valorous Unit Award is a decoration which is awarded to units of the United States Army which display extraordinary heroism in action against an armed enemy of the United States of America. The Valorous Unit Award is also granted to any United States Army unit which, while serving with friendly foreign forces, engages in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party.
