Verkhoyansk
Verkhoyansk () is a town in the Sakha Republic, Russia, situated on the Yana River, near the Arctic Circle, 675Â km from Yakutsk. There is river port, an airport, a fur-collecting depot, and the center of a reindeer-raising area.
