Vanya on 42nd Street is a unique 1994 film by Louis Malle and Andre Gregory, which shows an intimate performance of the play Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov. This English translation of the play was written by David Mamet and starred Wallace Shawn and Julianne Moore.
