Virginia Anti-Gay Adoption Bill
The Virginia Anti-Gay Adoption Bill would have required social workers to determine the sexual orientation of prospective adoptive parents to prevent gay people from adopting children in the state. The House of Delegates passed the bill 71-24, but a Senate committee ended the life of the bill.
