Vera Volkova
Vera Volkova (Russian: Bepa Boлкoвa; 1905 – May 5, 1975) was an influential Russian ballet dancer and dance teacher. Born in Tomsk but trained in Petrograd as a dancer at the philosopher Akim Volynsky's School of Russian Ballet, she was important in spreading the teaching methods of Agrippina Vaganova in the West after her defection in 1929.
