Val-des-Monts, Quebec
The municipality of Val-des-Monts, population 9,200, is located about 40 kilometres north of Ottawa in the Outaouais region of Quebec. Formed in 1974 by the merger of the towns of Perkins, Saint-Pierre-de-Wakefield and Poltimore, it consists mainly of farms and mountainous forests.
