V-ATPase
Vacuolar type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase) is a highly conserved evolutionarily ancient enzyme with remarkably diverse functions in eukaryotic organisms. V-ATPases acidifiy a wide array of intracellular organelles and pump protons across the plasma membranes of numerous cell types.
