War of Attrition
The War of Attrition ()() was a limited war fought between Israel]i military, and the forces of [[Egypt and the Palestinian Liberation Organization and from 1968 to 1970. It was initiated by Egypt as a way to recapture the Sinai from Israel, which had controlled it since the Six-Day War.
