Weissenau Abbey

Weissenau Abbey (Kloster Weissenau, Reichsstift Weissenau) was a Premonstratensian monastery in Upper Swabia, in Baden-WĂĽrttemberg, Germany. The site was originally called Au (Latin "Augia", or "meadow"), then Minderau ("Augia Minor", "lesser meadow"), and finally Weissenau ("Augia Alba" or "Candida", "white meadow"), and is now in Eschach, a part of Ravensburg.
