Watteau in Venice ( in French La fĂŞte Ă  Venise) is a novel by French author Philippe Sollers published in 1991 by Editions Gallimard, and translated by Alberto Manguel, published in 1994 by Charles Scribner's Sons. This novel is a meditation on Venice and on the ebb and flow of our new global culture, its seductive games, and incertain future.
