Wendell H. Meade
Wendell Howes Meade (January 18 1912–June 2 1986) served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Kentucky's 7th Congressional District during the Eightieth Congress (January 3 1947–January 3 1949). Before his election to congress, Meade was a practicing lawyer in Paintsville, Kentucky and served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy from November 1943 until January 1946.
