Walerian ĹukasiĹ„ski
Walerian ĹukasiĹ„ski (15 April 1786 in Warsaw - 27 January 1868 in Shlisselburg) was a Polish officer and activist. Sentenced by Russian Empire authorities to 14 years of imprisonment, he was never released and died after 44 years, becoming one of the symbols of Polish struggle for independence.
