Waziristan Accord
The Waziristan Accord (or North Waziristan Accord) is an agreement between the government of Pakistan and tribals, resident in the Waziristan area to mutually cease hostilities in North Waziristan (a district in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas adjacent to Afghanistan). The agreement was signed on September 5, 2006 in the North Waziristan town of Miranshah.
