Westgate Mall (Brockton, Massachusetts)
The Westgate Mall is the oldest fully-enclosed shopping mall in Massachusetts, located in the city of Brockton 20 miles south of Boston. The 600,000 square foot mall opened in 1963 and was substantially renovated in 2000, reversing a trend of nearly a decade of decline wherein nearly all of the stores had vacated the center.
