Water politics
Water Politics is the proposed exploitation of access and use of water as a tool of international, domestic and regional politics, used to exert control over other states or groups. Access and use of Water in terms of flowing rivers, dams and lakes is of increasing importance since the early 1990s and before this time, with many groups struggling to obtain dominance over this vital, dwindling resource.
