Wernigerode (district)
Wernigerode is a district (Kreis) in the west of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise) Halberstadt, Quedlinburg, the district Nordhausen in Thuringia and the district Goslar in Lower Saxony.
