Western Chalukya literature
The reign of the Western Chalukyas (Kannada:ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಚಾಲŕłŕ˛•ŕłŤŕ˛Żŕ˛°ŕł) spanning the 10th century - 12th century period holds a pre-eminent place in the history of Kannada literature. They are also known as Kalyani Chalukyas or Later Chalukyas.
