Wath engine shed



Wath engine shed was a small locomotive depot built to the north of the township of Wath-upon-Dearne, near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, to service the freight locomotives of the Manchester-Sheffield-Wath electric railway. The Wath marshalling yard, opened by the Great Central Railway in 1907 formed the terminal point of the Woodhead Line
