Western European broadleaf forests
This palaearctic ecoregion covers a large area in Western Europe (France, Austria and Germany), with in particular Central Massive, Jura, Central German Uplands, Bavarian Plateau and Bohemian Massive. It is essentially lowland and altimontane beech and mixed beech forests.
