Western conifer seed bug
Western conifer seed bugs (Leptoglossus occidentalis) do not bite, but they do sting, however the sting is a little different than you would be thinking. They do not have jaws to bite with, so they use the organ they have to stick into trees for sap and prick you on the finger or whatever it is you are using to pick one up.
