Wabush, Newfoundland and Labrador
Wabush is a small town in the western tip of Labrador, known for transportation and iron ore operations for over three decades (1967 to 2006). Wabush is the twin city of Labrador City and at its height, the region boasted a population of just over 22,000 (late-1970s).
