Xenharmony
Xenharmonic music describes all tuning systems, and music using those systems, that do not use or approximate the common European twelve-tone equal temperament. The term was coined by Ivor Darreg from xenia (Greek ξενία), hospitable, and xenos (Greek ÎľÎνος) foreign.
