Yuba Goldfields

The Yuba Goldfields are a 10,000-acre (40 km²) valley on both sides of the Yuba River in Yuba County, California, located northeast of Yuba City. The goldfields are noted for their otherworldly appearance, filled with oddly shaped gravel mountains, ravines, streams and turquoise-colored pools of water.
