Yefim (Fyodorovich) Karskiy (, , (older name form); 1861-01-01 (1860-12-20), vil. Lasha (Grodno Uyezd Grodno Gubernia) – 1931-04-29), notable linguist-Slavist, ethnographer and paleographer, founder of the Belarusian linguistics, literature expertise and paleography, member of numerous scientifical institutions, author of more than 100 works on the linguistics, ethnography, paleography etc.
