The Yubari class destroyer escort Sometimes Yuubari depending on romanization (or frigate) of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force is the successor of the Ishikari class destroyer escort. The displacement was slightly increased and a newer version of the main gun by the same manufacturer was adopted.
