Yosef Weitz
Yosef Weitz (1890-1972) was the director of Jewish National Fund´s Land Department, and was responsible for both land acquisitions and later for afforestation efforts. When Yosef Weitz was appointed head of the JNF Lands and Afforestation department in 1932, afforestation got a major shot-in-the-arm.
