Yūki family
The YĹ«ki family (çµĺźŽć°Ź, -shi) was a Japanese samurai clan comprised of two branches: the Shimousa YĹ«ki and the Shirakawa YĹ«ki. Descended from the famous kuge (court noble) Fujiwara no Hidesato, the clan became split during the Nanboku-chĹŤ Wars of the 14th century, in which one branch supported the Southern Imperial Court, and the other branch the Northern Pretenders.
