Yevgeny Petrov
Yevgeny Petrov (Yevgeny Petrovich Kataev; Russian: Евгений Петров; in Odessa – July 2, 1942) was an extremely popular Soviet author of the 1920s and 1930s, who worked in collaboration with Ilya Ilf. He is the brother of Valentin Kataev.
