Yining



Yining (; Uighur غۇلژا Ghulja; also Ili, Yili, Kuldja, Kulja, Ghulja, Ining) is a city in western Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of northwestern China, and the capital of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. Population: 280,000 in 1999.
