YaCy



YaCy (read "ya see") is an open-source distributed search engine, built on principles of peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, and released under the GPL. Its core is a computer program written in Java distributed on currently (September 2006) several hundreds of computers so called YaCy-peers.



Information are taken from Wikipedia, the open encyclopedia, to which contribute many volunteers from around the whole world. Texts are available under the following conditions GNU Free Documentation License.
