Young Turk Revolution
The Young Turk Revolution (1908) was a watershed event, which reversed the suspention of the ottoman parliament by Abdul Hamid II and instigate the second constitutional era, which marked the beginning of dissolution of the Ottoman Empire. Even though the revolution has taken the name "Young Turk", it was supported by many ethnic groups, as evidenced by the wide spread public uprisings that took place, including the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
