Zhang Guangdou



Zhang Guangdou (张光斗 pinyin: Zhang Guangdou) (born May 1, 1921, Changshu, Jiangsu Province) is a world-known specialist in hydraulic engineering, professor at Tsinghua University, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. He graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1934, obtained his Master degree in Civil Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 1936, and Master degree in Engineering Mechanics from Harvard University in 1937.
