Zoster-immune globulin
Zoster-immune globulin (ZIG) is a globulin fraction (separable constituent) of pooled (mixed) plasma extracted from human donors who have recovered from infection by herpes zoster. ZIG is used in the prevention and treatment of chickenpox.
