ZAP (motor company)
Founded in 1994, ZAP (short for "Zero Air Pollution") is a publicly owned corporation (stock symbol ZAAP) company located in Santa Rosa, California which manufactures and markets various electric vehicles. It is also making available US-legal gray-market conversions of the Smart car, which is popular in Europe for its tiny size and fuel economy.
