Zygote intrafallopian transfer
Zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT) is an infertility treatment in which egg cells are removed from a woman's ovaries, and fertilized in the laboratory. The resulting zygote is placed into the fallopian tube by the use of laparoscopy.
