Zevulon Veers
In the Star Wars Expanded Universe, Zevulon Veers was the eldest son of noted Imperial Army general, Maximilian Veers. He questioned the Galactic Empire's motives from a young age, after his mother's death by disease during holday, but was still compelled the join COMPNOR's Sub-Adult Group, a paramilitary group to indoctrinate youth into the New Order; out of concern for his father's career, Zev managed to keep quiet most of his deep concerns about the New Order's repressive police tactics and heavy use of slaves like the Mon Calamari and the Wookiees; further education in logic and philosophy only sharpened his doubts and concerns.
