Zdeněk Mácal
Zdeněk Mácal (often written Zdenek Macal) (born January 8], [[1936 in Brno) is a Czech conductor. After a promising career in Czechoslovakia, he left the country after the Soviet-led invasion of 1968 crushed the Prague Spring, finding work first at the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra.
